Since 1888, many years of the film/media history has passed including various movies of diverse genres, touching and amazing documentaries, and now the question is...
Have any schools for the deaf in the nation, perhaps in the world as well, filmed full-feature length documentary film about the respective history of their institutions?
The Learning Center Alumni Association proudly presents a TLC Filmmaking Production in association with Tom McKnight Productions and film director Jonah Meehan, perhaps the first-ever full-feature length historical documentary film of the one and only bilingual-bicultural school for the deaf in the bay state, Massachusetts, The Learning Center for Deaf Children.
This film's title is taken from the address of the original building, 848 Central Street in Framingham, a town populated of 66,910 people. The school has been in existence and teaching students since 1970.
